4. A simple Lent Course
A selection of Waymarkers for individuals or groups. It was designed for the six weeks from Ash Wednesday through to Easter but can be used at any time.
Perhaps you already have a course that youre using, and youd like to encourage participants to use Foundations21 to follow on from the sessions in your own course.
Get in touch with us and we can help you to map Foundations21 to your course, identifying for you the Waymarkers that will be relevant to each of your sessions.
You can see how this works below for a confirmation course. (You will not be able to see all the content unless you are logged in.)
C4 Confirmation is a resource for those running a confirmation group. Use it for your own inspiration or give the address of the C4confirmation page for people to use after each session. Click on the title to see it.
You can also create your own course using different elements of Foundations21. If you would like to discuss this to find out more use the Contact us link on the main page.
The Looking for God website, run by UCB, wanted those who were new Christians to be able to have a simple introduction to the Christian faith using Mark's Gospel. We created this course to take participants through Mark's Pathway in Foundations21 just at Level 1. That's twelve pairs of Waymarkers.
In 'The Way of the Desert' Andrew Watson (Bishop of Aston) takes us on a Lenten journey from Ash Wednesday to Easter Day, from the parting of the Red Sea to Israel's entry into the promised land.
You can use it for yourself or as a Lent course in your group. Available as a paperback or a downloadable PDF.
