I can't see the bottom of the pages

I can’t see the bottom of the pages on my screen

There are two common problems here,

Problem 1 is that you have too many tool bars at the top of the page, so that you can't see the bottom of the page

Check this by pressing F11, so that the tool bars at the top do not appear. Does this solve the problem? If so use F11 when you need to, and press it again when you want to return the page to normal.

Alternatively you could remove unnecessary toolbars like Yahoo/Google/status bar/AOL/others, if you don't need them.

Problem 2 is that your text size is not standard, resulting in text being hidden on the page. Probably your Font size or DPI setting is incorrect.

The Font size needs to be Normal and the DPI (Dots per inch) setting needs to be 96 and not 120 or anything else.

(Vista users see later note.)

To check these settings go to START. Choose Control Panel and then Display. (Or right click on the desktop, before opening any other windows and Select Properties.)
You will see the Display properties dialogue box.

Select Appearance and make sure Font size is Normal

Now click on the tab labelled Settings and then on Advanced, you should see a page which displays DPI setting. Change this to 96 dpi.

Click on Apply and OK.

VISTA USERS If you are using Vista, go to START. Choose Control Panel and then Personalize. (Or right click on the desktop, before opening any other windows. Select Personalize.) Click Adjust font size (DPI), and you’ll find an option to change from 120 to 96 DPI.

RESTART the computer. This is important!

When you log on to Foundations21 the page should now render correctly.

ONE MORE CHECK: Once you are on the Foundations21 page, in Internet Explorer, choose View or Page from the menu bar at the top, and then select Text size. Make sure it is set to Medium.

If that does not solve the problem, send a screen shot of what you see to foundations21@brf.org.uk. To do this, when you are on the Foundations21 page, press Print Screen key (labelled PrtScr or similar). Then open up a word document and right click and choose Paste. The screen shot should paste onto the page. This will help us to determine the cause of the problem.
